Self-shuttle parking and drop-in is available 7 days a week for $20 per vehicle (up to 8 passengers). We also offer a limited number of seats on our shuttle from the 6 mile parking lot to our drop-in on Thursday - Sunday on the hour from 9 am to 12 pm for $15 per passenger (free parking included).

Drop Your Gear & Park

Self-Shuttle Option 7 Days a Week - $20 per vehicle

Our parking lot is located at 1400 Bald Eagle Drive, Galena, MO 65656. Follow the signs into the parking area and drop one vehicle off there. Please park to the left upper half of the lot area and take note of where you'll end on the river.

Drive to our drop-in with your gear and group: 2570 Horsecreek Road, Galena, MO 65656. Take the first road past the Welcome Center through the Horsecreek Ranch gate. When you get to the campground, take a right and follow the road until you see Eagles Bluff Beach. Park along the left or right of the road where parking is marked.

NOTE: Vehicles parked in this lot without a reservation will be towed at the owner's expense.

Shuttle Only Pass (free parking) Thursday-Sunday 9 am - 12 pm

If you would like to ride our shuttle, it is $15 per passenger and includes free parking. We do not have space to transport your personal watercraft.

You'll first drop your gear and group at Eagles Bluff Beach, our private drop-in located in our Horsecreek Ranch & Retreat Campground at 2570 Horsecreek Road, Galena, MO 65656. Take the first road past the Welcome Center through the Horsecreek Ranch gate. When you get to the campground, take a right and follow the road until you see Eagles Bluff Beach. Park along the left or right of the road where parking is marked to unload.

Then, drive your vehicle to the parking lot located at 1400 Bald Eagle Drive, Galena, MO 65656. Follow the signs into the parking area and park to the left upper half of the lot area.

Our shuttle runs on the hour from 9 am to 12 pm on Thursday-Sunday. Please plan accordingly to arrive a few minutes early, as the shuttle leaves AT the designated pickup times and may not be able to return until the next hour slot.

About the Float

The float from our drop-in to parking is approximately 6 miles. Depending on river height, flow speed, how many stops you make, and whether you float leisurely or paddle, it typically ranges from 4-6 hours on the river.

We recommend dropping in before 1 pm to ensure you'll end before dusk.

Guests will need to portage their watercraft from the river approximately 200 feet into the parking lot at the end.
